Our facilities and expertise

Guy's and St Thomas' is one of the largest NHS foundation trusts in the United Kingdom with a turnover of £1.3 billion.

As a leading tertiary and quarternary centre we operate from Guy's Hospital based in the London Bridge Quarter and from St Thomas' Hospital and the Evelina London Children's Hospital, both based opposite the Houses of Parliament on the south bank of the Thames. We offer a complete range of clinical specialties as well as fully integrated community services.

We are part of King's Health Partners (KHP) – one of only six accredited Academic Health Science Centres (AHSC) recognised by the United Kingdom's Department of Health. Alongside Guy's and St Thomas' the partnership includes King's College London, a university ranked in the top 20 in the world and two more of the UK's leading NHS foundation trusts, King's College Hospital and South London and Maudsley.

We are also a member of the Health Innovation Network in South London which has been developed to bring together training and education, clinical research and informatics expertise and through innovation, work towards long lasting improvements in patient and wider population health.

In addition, as home to one of only five Biomedical Research Centres in the country, we are among the top three trusts for NHS research in the National Institute for Health Research's annual league tables and we are the highest recruiting trust in England for recruiting patients into non-commercial Clinical Research Network portfolio studies.
